Mapping Kentucky Data Center Resources

Communities across Kentucky are facing important decisions about data center development. It's a complex issue that calls for careful assessment of policy, legal, environmental, workforce, cultural, and other impacts. Demanding Data Center Accountability (Demand DCA) is building a resource to drive better decision-making: a statewide stakeholder map of all organizations offering resources related to this issue.

This survey is the first step towards creating that resource. The deadline for this survey is rolling but we are asking input to be provided as soon as possible. We plan to publish the first iteration of the resource map by mid-November and thus request submissions by October 25, 2026. The input from this survey will be publicly available on demanddca.org. This work is part of a micro grant awarded by the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange and the Kentucky Waterways Alliance.

Please share this survey with your network and anyone working on data centers, whether in policy, regulation, climate and environment, workforce, construction, or any other related area. We can't do this work without you - so thank you!
